Camille's Bio

Camille Block is a Career Coach with a diverse background spanning multiple industries in the fields of retained executive search recruiting, sales, and marketing. Camille’s professional highlights include business sales for a large health insurance company, sales and marketing for an upscale local lifestyle magazine, and wholesale financial sales to brokers with high net-worth clients. In executive search, she worked as a recruiter in every aspect of the search process for C-Suite, VP, and Director level positions in a variety of industries for mid-market businesses with revenues from $500m - $1B.

A natural connector and change-maker, Camille has always enjoyed helping people navigate their career goals and encouraged them to go after their dreams, while serving as a bridge to connect them to others in her network. As a result, Camille has combined her personal passion in advising and helping others with her professional experience in recruiting and sales to form Connectivity – a concierge-style career consulting practice, targeting people in a life or career transition and providing contract recruiting services to businesses looking for an expert at recruiting top talent on a short term basis.

She also spends part of her time as a Career Coach for Lee Hecht Harrison, a global HR Solutions and career transition company, to provide recently laid off professionals coaching services for their transition to their next position.

Camille has been married over 28 years, lives in Thousand Oaks, CA and has three mostly grown children – a newly married daughter in graduate school, a daughter half way through college, and a 16-year-old high school son. Several years of her career were spent as a stay-at-home mom raising a family and she understands first-hand the challenges of re-entering the workplace after this important season.

Finding herself in an empty nest transition, she has also found solace in writing as a freelancer and is hoping to publish her first book addressing her journey with her quadriplegic/disabled brother. One of her personal essays was recently published in Grown & Flown, a popular web-based subscription publication centered on parenting older children. Camille holds a B.A. in Social Science with a Business Management minor from Pepperdine University.
