Camille's Bio

Camille Block is a Career Coach with a diverse background spanning multiple industries in the fields of retained executive search recruiting, sales, and marketing. Camille’s professional highlights include business sales for a large health insurance company, sales and marketing for an upscale local lifestyle magazine, and wholesale financial sales to brokers with high net-worth clients. In executive search, she worked as a recruiter in every aspect of the search process for C-Suite, VP, and Director level positions in a variety of industries for mid-market businesses with revenues from $500M - $1B.

A natural connector and change-maker, Camille has always enjoyed helping people navigate their career goals and encouraged them to go after their goals, while serving as a bridge to connect them to others in her network. As a result, Camille combined her personal passion in advising and helping others with her professional experience in executive recruiting and sales to form Connectivity – a concierge-style career consulting practice, targeting professionals and executives in a life or career transition.

She also works as an Executive Career Advisor for Lee Hecht Harrison, a global HR Solutions and career transition company, to provide recently laid off executives a myriad of coaching services for their transition to their next position or life pivot. She has also served as a facilitator of executive roundtable groups and a workshop trainer on topics affecting executives including how to work with recruiters. She has recently added her certification in the Integrative Enneagram assessment as a tool to offer her clients in a career transition or who want to increase their self-awareness for personal and professional development growth.

Camille has been married over 31 years, lives in Thousand Oaks, CA and has three grown children – a married daughter in North Carolina who has her own business as a LCSW doing therapy with foster teens,, adolescents and young adults, a daughter in law school in St Louis, and a son half way through college majoring in business. Several years of her career were spent as a stay-at-home parent raising a family and she understands first-hand the challenges of re-entering the workplace after this important season.

Finding herself in an empty nest transition, she has also found solace in writing as a freelancer and is hoping to publish her first book addressing her personal journey with her disabled brother soon. One of her personal essays was  published in Grown & Flown, a popular web-based subscription publication centered on parenting older children. She also enjoys publishing articles on LinkedIn for professionals and has several on executive job search, executives who went through a transformation throughout Covid and using the Enneagram in a career pivot

Camille holds a B.A. in Social Science with a Business Management minor from Pepperdine University.
